Who we are

eQualitie is a Canadian technology organisation specialising in the development and distribution of free and open source software, services and security training for civil society, human rights organisations and independent media to protect and promote human rights online.

Since 2016, we have been working in Ukraine to enhance digital resilience amid the ongoing war with Russia.

In 2022, eQualitie joined #KeepUkraineConnected — an initiative of the Global NOG Alliance to help the Ukrainian telecom market in its restoration.

In 2022-2023, we supplied 70 Ukrainian ISPs with batteries to power their local fibre optic networks during electricity outages. We delivered 15 tonnes of shipments in late December 2022 and May 2023. To deliver and distribute equipment, we have coordinated our efforts with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and private sector organisations.
